Privacy
Your documents are never transmitted. This site has no upload endpoint at all.
Your files
Files you open are read by your browser using its own file picker and held in memory in the page. They are not sent anywhere, not stored, and not retained after you close the tab. There is no retention period here because there is no retention — nothing ever arrives.
You can verify this. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the network panel, and use any tool on the site. No request carries your document, because there is no endpoint to carry it to.
What is collected
Nothing by me. No account, no advertising, and no cookies for tracking.
One thing that is not mine
The host, Cloudflare, injects a small page-view script into every page it serves. It records that a page was loaded, from roughly where and in what browser, and it is added at their edge rather than by me — it is not in the source of this site and there is currently no way to switch it off on their free tier.
It measures visits to pages. It has no access to anything you type into a tool or any file you open, because none of that leaves your browser in the first place.
Fonts
The typeface is served by Google Fonts, so your browser requests it from Google and Google sees that request. It carries nothing about your document.
Server logs
The host keeps ordinary access logs — IP address, browser, page requested — as any web server does. They record that a page was served and nothing about what you did with it.
